February Goal Review

Oh man, I cannot believe that this month is done! Seriously, March is tomorrow! At the beginning of February, I wrote down a list of goals that I wanted to achieve. Check out the list below, in case you didn’t read my previous blog.

  • -Ride my Peloton 3-4 times a week

  • -Drink a gallon of water daily 5-7 times a week

  • -NO fast food

  • -Go for a weekly walk

  • -Start and finish my February Book of the Month

  • -Write 2 blogs

  • -Dedicate an hour nightly to CreativeCaitie

  • -Check in on friends and schedule facetimes if possible!

  • -Find creative and covid safe date nights with my hubby.

I would love to report that I accomplished all these goals and more, but that would be a big ole lie. I think when it comes down to it, I was a little too ambitious about what was achievable in my time frame. On the positive side, I was able to write 2 blogs, check in on friends, go on a date with my hubby, and do a weekly walk. So not too bad but I know I could have done much better. Being disciplined has never been a forte of mine. Because if it was, I’d be a chiseled goddess with a six pack, who achieved all her dreams. Mentally it takes a lot to remind myself to try and stick with goals. Especially, when it feels like I am having a bad day or week. Hence, having fast food or not working out. I think one of the main goals of March is to stop giving into those feelings of “well I had a bad day soooo I’m not cooking” or “I’m too tired to workout I just want to sleep” When it comes down to it these are just excuses that are ruining any progress I may make. So, going into March here is what I want to achieve.

  • -Workout 3-4 times a week. Try to get back to fitness activities I love!

  • -Keep drinking water daily! If I reach a gallon AMAZING if not has to be over half.

  • -Devote time to CreativeCaitie 3-4 times a week.

  • -Get back to reading!

  • -Fast food to only 1-2 times a month.

The point is not to give up on ourselves and to keep the habit of making and striving to achieve goals till it becomes second nature! Who’s with me?
